M.D. PEARLS v3.1
QUICK START GUIDE
M.D. Pearls can be started by copying the MD PEARL files into
the directory of your choice. All of the files must go into the same
directory or sub-directory for the program to operate properly.
Type MDPERL at the DOS prompt and press [Enter] to begin. Once started,
the program can be utilized by clicking the mouse over the "Find" button,
where a Dialog Box will appear and ask you to type in the abbreviation
or acronym you want to look up. You can also use the [Tab] key to move to
the "Find" button and press [Enter].
Clicking the mouse or pressing [Enter] over one of the alphabet keys will
take you to that letter's page, where you can scroll through the list box
and see which meanings go with which abbreviations and acronyms. Only the
vertical list box with abbreviations and acronyms in it can be scrolled.
Press [F1] for help, or click the mouse over the button in the far right
corner to receive additional pointers on using the program.
To guarantee integrity of the program files, try not to turn off your
computer or reset it until you have exited the program to DOS or your
DOS shell.
Hope you find the program useful - comments, suggestions, and criticisms
are welcome.
